Hey. I'm Tailai.

I'm a software developer, student leader, and change-maker.

About Me

In case you were wondering... It's pronounced "Tie-Lie" and it originates from an old Chinese proverb.

I'm a 3B Computer Science and Business Administration Double Degree student at the University of Waterloo. I have a burning passion for technology and a desire to empower and impact my communities.

In my spare time, I love fitness, hiking, and the outdoors. I regularly attend and organize hackathons to meet inspiring people and develop cool stuff. I also compete in business case competitions with Wilfrid Laurier University's JDCC Team, where I learn about strategic management and different aspects of the organization.

For the next term, I'll be an iOS Software Intern at Tile, working on their new app architechture and AR features. I've previously interned as an iOS Engineer at the Sonova Innovation Lab and as a BTSS Analyst for the Production Engineering team at Questrade. I'm currently searching for SWE, Product Management, and Management Consulting internships for Winter & Summer 2023!
