Hey. I'm Tailai.

I'm a software developer, student leader, and change-maker.

About Me

In case you were wondering... It's pronounced "Tie-Lie" and it originates from an old Chinese proverb.

I'm a 5B Computer Science and Business Administration Double Degree student at the University of Waterloo. I've previously interned as a ML Infra SWE at IMC, FDE at Palantir, SWE at Tile, an iOS Engineer at the Sonova Innovation Lab, and as a BTSS Analyst for the Production Engineering team at Questrade.

In my spare time, I love fitness, hiking, and the outdoors. I organize hackathons (Hack the North!) and work as a teaching assistant at school. I also compete in business case competitions with Wilfrid Laurier University's International Case Team, where I learn about strategic management and apply it to companies all over the world.

Feel free to reach out if you have any interesting opportunities in engineering!
